Touring

We don't spend all our time working. We do get out and look around every once in a while. We went with the Currys to a steam train that runs only during the winter.

The train was restored by a wealthy industrialist from Indiana. He found the engine rusting in Long Island and as a project to bring his son and him closer together, he bought it and they restored it. When the weather gets nicer the owners take it back to Indiana. Anyway, it a hour ride up the track, the train gets held up by the "Hole in the Head Gang"and they even has some painted women working the train.

They arrested some hooligans (Carol & Polly) and kept them locked up for us.

We also toured the Gamble Plantation where the tour guide gave a nice 3/4 hour talk as we walked through the plantation. We finished just in time for him to do it all again - 6 times every day - and he still sounds interested in it.

Check out the bird house in front of the mirror image house.
